I’ve seen two very shy deer near our home in Unit 3. Great photo of the fox – thanks for sharing.

I would mount it high on a tree (or other structure) with no lower limbs that can be climbed…use an extension ladder….not many hikers carry one of those around….Good Luck!

You can also use a cable and lock to secure it to tree or post.That’s what we did.

A little off topic, but on my last trip up, I spotted a beautiful bobcat. Crossed in front of my car on lower Sierra Parkway.
