    Hello,

If you enjoy backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, and snowboarding and want to enjoy your human powered sport in designated areas without the sounds and smells of OSV’s and are frustrated by the illegal tresspassing by OSV’s in wilderness areas then now is the time to voice your concern. You can attend one of the above-mentioned meetings or email the Forest Service by submitting your comments to the scoping notice on Over-Snow Vehicle Use Designation.
    Deadline is August 10th.

    Hello,
If you like to snowmobile, you might want to attend one of these upcoming meetings to provide your input to the Forest Service. Even if you do not snowmobile, you may enjoy one of the benefits that snowmobiling provides. Did you know that it is the snowmobile license fees that pay for the grooming at the snowpark at Lake Alpine? Snowmobiling also brings valuable tourist dollars to the area in the winter. Also, for years the Bear Valley Snowmobile Club held fun raisers for our local Search and Rescue.

If you are able, please come out and support the snowmobile community at one of these meetings.

Below is a notification I recieved from the Forest Service…
