    Thanks for the info. Ended up making the hike on Friday and it was beautiful. Assume snow this week puts that to an end for the season.

    The road to the trail head has 3-4″ of packed snow on it, I just drove in w/2 wheel drive but if you get off of the pack you’re liable to get stuck without 4WD. The Chickaree day use parking area is plowed so you could park there. The trail itself has the same amount of snow on it, but should be pretty visible especially if you’ve hiked it before.

    Does anyone know if Duck Lake trail is open for a hike? Need to work off todays dinner.
