    MANY THANKS for the update. Actually trying to go to Mammoth this weekend for an event, so that will saved some hours of driving.

    Just heard from a Caltrans friend that the pass will most likely open this Friday the 13th.

    Caltrans spokesperson Rick Estrada

    While Estrada says has not yet heard back from the head of roadway clearing, repair and maintenance efforts at Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass, plans are presently to also have it open by the Memorial Day holiday, if not before, weather permitting.
